By knowing the purpose, you will have a basis how to sort the elements. The purpose depends on the type of SWOT analysis. In fact, there are a few kinds of SWOT analysis. Make sure that you give the more specific reasons by identifying the business performance in a particular activity.
Secondly, you need to prepare the tools as well as materials. In writing a SWOT analysis, you are allowed to do this analysis anywhere and even with anything. Therefore, you have to make sure that all the tools & materials have been prepared properly so that this analysis can be performed well.
For example, you can write it on a piece of paper. Alternatively, it is a good idea to write this analysis using a computer. It does not matter what tools & materials you want to use as long as it lets you draw lines & write texts easily.
After everything is ready, you can begin writing a SWOT analysis essay by making a grid. On your chosen media, you should draw a square which is big enough so that you it can hold all possible items. Once the square has been made, you should divide it into 4 smaller squares.
Next, what you need to do is to put a label in the box. Each box should be indicated with Strengths (S), Weaknesses (W), Opportunities (O), and Threats (T). If possible, you can add creative effects like unique design or different colors so that it looks much more attractive.
Now, you can add the items on each box. Make sure that you fulfill the boxes with appropriate contents. Here, you must indicate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats of your business. Usually, the contents are written in the bullet form to make it easier to read & understand.
Lastly, you have to make a conclusion about the analysis. In this conclusion, you should write out your realization from the framework that you have made. The conclusion of SWOT analysis templates serves your basis on creating a critical decision to improve the performance of your business.
