The list of items in the living room can be rugs & carpeting, chairs & sofas, end tables & coffee, bookshelves & media center, blinds & curtains, and art or wall decors. For bathroom, the items may include shavers, toothbrushes, hairdryers, medicine cabinets, bath towels, mirrors, and cabinets.

The information about the items can be different from one template to another. It depends on you. If you want to add other information, you can add columns for room / location, category, warranty expired date, estimated present price, issued, and notes or description.
Tips to Make a Sample Home Inventory
There are some tips and tricks that will help you to create a home inventory. First, you have to keep in mind that the more detailed inventory will be better. Besides, the inventory at least must have brand names, product serial numbers, digital photos, and receipts.
Then, it is better if you provide them separately as we have discussed above. It is also very important to keep the inventory updated.
